Five years, and now progress!
Things are finally moving with the camper! The engine is 90% done, we're just deciding on the upholstery. Thinking blue and white canvas. Yay!

Novwember (deliberate typo - "vw")
I rang John during the summer, he was swamped with other campers, so asked me to call in November! Which I will do, this being a low-money year, it suited me anyway.

Yay!
The Camper is in Ireland!
We've bought the Beige '78 now, and John will use parts from the Yellow '77 that also arrived to provide parts etc for it.
We want it to be Pastel White on the top: http://www.gti16v.com/vwcsl90d.htm#vwcsl90d and the bottom part Oceanic Blue for the bottom part: http://www.gti16v.com/vwcsl57h.htm#vwcsl57h
Finding the exact colours on the web was v handy.

It will look more like this when it's painted:

In about a month, he will prepare it for painting and then send it out to be done.
There will be a ton of VWs in Easkey on Thursday, so Jane will be able to go and have a look:

You wait for ever for a bus, then two come along!
You wait for ever for a bus, then two come along!
Yes, the two rolling shells John has got from Calafornia have finally drifted over to Holland and will be in Ireland next week! We'll go down and see them and pick one. Luckily the cash is there, just means a few bills get paid a bit later, ho-hum...

Bon voyage campers, and bits.
According to John, he was talking to the shipper yesterday and the parts in Alabama (the kitchen bits) are being picked up today and as far as he knows the two buses have left LA at this point.
